Safety Culture Training expanded to teams of admin: In general, safety culture defines the attitude in relation to safety at work. Managers should act as role models and show positive commitment. Therefore, Corporate HSE offers safety culture trainings within KAEFER. Recently, a special one took place in Bremen. For the first time, the participants were not only managers but the entire team from Corporate IT who received a deeper insight into this essential topic. The feedback was very positive and other departments are going to follow soon.
Ratcliffe Power Station (UK) manager praises KAEFER’s Lean processes. Dave Johnson noted that "Whilst working collaboratively with KAEFER and their established Lean processes we have seen considerable success." The success is derived from the additional efficiency and saving of man hours and materials on site. The dedicated effort of the site team and Lean Leaders helped Ratcliffe Power Station deliver a successful outage through achieving an 18% efficiency increase on our scaffolding activities. A huge thanks to everyone involved!
Big HSE success in Norway. Congratulations to the entire team in Kårstø for a fantastic and effective HSE effort in 2016: no lost time injuries, medical treatment injuries nor serious incidents. Our client Statoil confirmed it as well in a very encouraging letter and with “thank you” cakes. Keep up the outstanding work!
A good start to the new year: Our Swedish colleagues were awarded with a new contract by Preem, the largest fuel company in Sweden, for extensive scaffolding works at their Lysekil refinery’s new Vacuum Distillation Unit. The new facility will manufacture Vacuum Gas Oil hence removing the need for its import.KAEFER's part of the project starts in January 2017. Congrats to the team!
