KAEFER’s Test Laboratories

The KAEFER climatic chamber.

The KAEFER test laboratory has an exceptional range of equipment at its disposal, including a walk-in climatic chamber for example. A temperature range going as low as -70°C is a unique feature in this 15m³ chamber.

A further advantage of the KAEFER system is its ability to simulate temperature, air humidity and internal pressure of samples simultaneously. This combination was only made possible by fitting the climatic chamber with further devices put together and configured by KAEFER engineers.

The climatic chamber allows us to test several samples simultaneously if necessary. It can maintain ambient conditions constant or vary them in temperature and humidity as required over any desired period of time.

The climatic chamber can also perform shock tests with temperature drops of up to 100 K within 10 minutes. All test parameters and results are recorded and stored in digital form. All measurements are performed using sensors calibrated by accredited laboratories, guaranteeing extreme accuracy.

For tests of smaller objects even constant climatic cabinets are available.

Test standards

In the area of environmental simulation, we can cover a wide range of tests. Additionally changes in temperature of up to 10K/min are achievable.
